Productive Principles of Excellent Execution
The best idea in the world is meaningless without excellent execution. The ability to execute, to truly “get things done” and bring concepts and plans to fruition is a master skill. It’s what separates a couple of programmers working out of a garage, and their ability to create Google.
Excellent Execution isn’t a fluke. It’s the result of a team’s ability to get clear on their most important goal, understand the key driving factors that determine that goal’s success or failure, and how to self-motivate in a way that leads to follow-through and completion.
There is a process that peak performing individuals and teams use to be able to consistently execute. Our facilitator (who has worked with the likes of Tony Robbins, T. Harv Ecker and Nathaniel Brandon) will work with your team to step them through this process.
The first important step is getting your team to see, understand and agree to the importance of being able to execute.
Next, we will work with your team to determine their Critical Overriding Goal (COG). This is the example that will be used for the day’s session, and time is put into brainstorming and helping them get clear on what a “good” goal truly is (hint: it’s the kind of thing that drives and transforms businesses).
From there, your facilitator will step them through the process and psychology of execution. They will learn the importance of the types and kinds of goals they set, how to measure performance in ways that are both meaningful and highly motivational, and what to do when goals are missed, met, or exceeded.
Finally, we work with your team to put into place effective feedback mechanisms and follow-up accountability plans to keep everyone on track.
This training is highly customized, and can be blended with a number of other half or full day trainings to maximize effectiveness. This training works very well in conjunction with our Communication and Feedback trainings.
